How To Play

Playing Jimungo League is easy. Once you've registered, all you need to do is log in each week and predict the winning team and margin for each of the coming weekend's games. We will then compare your picks to what really happened and award you points accordingly. Compete with your mates to score your own status points and be in with a chance of winning great season prizes.

Earning Points

For each game featured in Jimungo League, you'll earn 5 points for correctly predicting the winning team and an extra 3 points if you pick the right margin (giving you a total of 8 points per game for picking the correct team and margin). Predicting a draw is a gutsy call so we'll give you double points if you pick this correctly - that means you can earn as many as 16 points from just one game! Please note that with the Golden Point Rule in place in the NRL the chances that a match will end in a draw are very low.

Make Your Picks

It couldn't be easier. When you log in, go from your personal home page straight to the Make Your Picks area then make one selection for each match. Your options are to select either side to win by 13 or more, 12 or less or a draw. The following example shows a prediction that the Warriors will beat the Eels by 13 or more.

Player Picks and TAB odds.

To help you make your picks we will calculate the proportion of Jimungo League players who have selected each margin. We will display these statistics hourly within the "Player Picks" section of each match. The odds offered by the New Zealand TAB will also be displayed to help players with their selections.

Random Picks

Not sure which team to back? Make a Random Pick by clicking on the "Make Random Picks" button on the Make Your Picks page. This will make a fully random selection, which you can then submit or modify.

DEADLINE - 6pm FRIDAY.

Once you’ve made your picks for each game in the round, hit Submit and let the points rack up! Remember you'll need to get your picks done before 6pm Friday (NZ time).

Default Picks

If you can't get your picks in before the deadline, we'll make them for you - but only on the first six occasions. We won't be held responsible for the quality of our picking and there's a fair chance you'll be better off if you make them yourself!

Prizes

Jimungo League offers a grand prize for the overall winner and runners up. For the highest scorer overall there is also a magnificent winner's trophy. Click here to view a full list of prizes.

Your Mates

Rivalry with your mates and family makes Jimungo League even more fun. By creating your own mates list, you can track exactly how they're doing and measure your own success against them.

In fact you can create two mates lists - one for family, for example, and another for workmates.

With the search function it's easy to find your mates. All you need to do is search for your mates then add them to your mates list. Each time you visit the site you can instantly track their performance. You can even add from our list of Celebtrities to see how you rate against the best in the business.

After the close off time for each round you can see your mate's picks on the mates page to see who they are backing and after the points update to see how they scored.

Email Updates

Each week we'll send you an email on Tuesday advising you of your score. You'll also receive a last minute email if you haven't already made your picks just before the Friday deadline. You can opt out of email contact but it's a useful way to ensure you don't miss out on any Jimungo League action.
